All the while his kid brother Tom was absorbing the whole scene under the watchful eye of Joe The Barber. Cutting his teeth in big brothers Joe’s shop down on Marengo street in Pasadena CA, shining shoes, sweeping floors forged in the Barber culture by the Master Barbers he was apprentice to.
As time would establish the Barbers kid brother would step in to his own. Royal Barber College in the heart is East Los Angeles would be his training ground as well as the hallowed halls of the Vidal Sassoon Academy.
